March 17th, 2012. Free breakfast and sign-up at Port Mansfield Chamber of Commerce Pavilion at 7:00 AM. Sack lunch provided and chili supper that evening. BES hosted a chili luncheon in appreciation of customers, employees and friends.
BES hosted a traditional turkey and dressing Thanksgiving meal in appreciation of customers, employees and friends. BES also honored all veterans attending with a special gift and recognition.
Bassler Energy Services opened its 3rd branch in the Haynesville Shale in May of 2010. BES had been operating in the Haynesville Shale since December 2009 but didn’t have a home base until May 2010. BES invited many DeSoto Parish officials, customers, employees and friends to the ribbon cutting event. BES served over 500 lbs of crawfish to all who attended. It was a great event and great way to let everyone in the Haynesville Shale know that BES had arrived!
The 1st Annual YPE Fort Worth Crawfish Boil benefitting Big Brothers and Big Sisters North Texas was a great success for the inaugural event. All proceeds went to the Big Brothers / Big Sisters North Texas organization. Over 500 lbs of crawfish were cooked for the attendees of the crawfish boil, there were an estimated 75 attendees at this inaugural event. Everyone got to enjoy music from Phil Pritchett and the Full Band.
BES cooked 700 lbs of crawfish for Austin Chalk chapter of American Petroleum Institution.
Miller and Kathie Bassler organized the 2nd Annual PINS and East Cut cleanup. They were joined by Blade and Kim Bassler and roughly 50 volunteers, many of whom were CCA members. The 2010 event showed promise with almost double the participation from 2009. The group successfully cleaned up a large section of the East Cut and approximately 5 miles of beach.
Miller and Kathie began 1st Annual Port Mansfield/PINS Beach Clean-up. The first annual event brought 25 volunteers and cleaned up approximately 2.5 miles of beach.
